Likoebe Maruping is an Associate Professor
of Computer Information Systems in the
College of Business at the University
of Louisville. He earned his Ph.D. in Information Systems from the
Robert H. Smith School of Business at
the University of Maryland in May
2006. Likoebe's primary research interest is in teams and the
antecedents of team effectiveness. In particular, his current
research focuses on software development teams and the factors that
enable them to achieve greater agility in managing software
development projects. He also does research on the role of
technology in supporting virtual team processes. His secondary
research stream focuses on the implementation of new technologies in
organizations. Likoebe's research has been published, or is
forthcoming, in leading journals such as Information Systems
Research, MIS Quarterly, Journal of Applied Psychology, Organizational Behavior and
Human Decision Processes, and Organization Science.
